Interesting Google

I know many bloggers have already blogged about this.... but I could not find a complete blog about these interesting feature in Google search results.


Here are some ways to get really funny Google search results -


Open Google.com and keep your instant search on, and do these one by one to find really amazing results -


1) type "TILT" without quotes and press "Search". Google's search results page will appear tilted. Isn't that really funny after doing everyday's boring work.


2) Type "Z or R" and press search button and your search results page will rotate by 180 degrees.


3) Type "Do a Barrel Roll" without quotes and press search. Search results page will take 2 rotations (360 degrees) to take to its proper orientation.


 4) Google Gravity - Its actually third party website "http://mrdoob.com" which has done this small project.
Type "Google Gravity" and press "I'm Feeling Lucky" button which will directly open first search result.
And as soon as you click on screen everything will start falling as if every word has gravity and interestingly search still works, if you search for a query, the results also will fall the same way, as if having gravity and you can drag, drop and play with elements in page.






5) Google Sphere - Same as Google Gravity, Mr. Doob has done Google Sphere.
Its actually google image search page with in spherical reality. You can search for images and images will appear to be part of sphere. You can rotate sphere in all 360 degrees angel. But the central Google image Search remains steady.






6) Mr.Doob -http://mrdoob.com - Its a site you must visit if you wanna know the power of web development, browse through all different project he has done its really amazing and he deserves applause for all of those. Apart from Google Gravity and Google Sphere there are many other such interesting projects.

7) Open a Spread Sheet in Google Docs then press Shift+F12. See the message that will appear.


8) Play Pacman on Google (single or multiplayer mode).


  • Go to http://www.google.com/pacman/
  • If you want to play PacMan on single mode, click the Insert Coin button beside Google Search but if you want to play on multiplayer mode, click the Insert Coin button twice.
  • Multiplayer mode controls: Arrow keys and A,S,D,W keys


9) Google Hacker - 
  • Go to Google.com
  • Type in Google Hacker and click I’m Feeling Lucky button.
Google's homepage comes in  Jejemon language which is spoken in Philippines.

Modified ExtJS LOVCombo (List of Values) ux plugin - with select all, deselect all, text filter, bubble up and bubble down of selection

Here is one interesting modification to LOVCombo ux plugin in ExtJS 3.4. The original ExtJS ux Lovcombo i.e.Ext.ux.form.LovCombo plugin was developed by Jozef Sakáloš and can be still found at  http://lovcombo.extjs.eu/ . In Ext 4.x onwards, similar modifications can be applied to combo-box through plugin property. Following modification to Ext.ux.form.LovCombo, enables it to have "Select All", "Deselect All", "Text Filtering on values", "bubbling up and down of selection events". Twin Trigger and Twin Trigger Combobox in ExtJS,  How to give qtip / quicktip / tooltip to Twin Trigger Field In ExtJS, there is a class Ext.form.TwinTriggerField (though its an abstract class) which is used to create objects of TwinTrigger, and can be extended to form n-trigger field.  Depending upon the requirement it can be easily, modified.
